About the Role

Cascades Canada ULC is seeking a skilled Materials Sorter to join our team. As a Materials Sorter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient sorting and processing of recyclable materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sorting and Processing: Check and weigh materials and products, sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products.
  • Assistance and Support: Assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers as needed.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Clean machines and immediate work areas, perform housekeeping activities.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work independently, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, hand-eye coordination.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs).

  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing work environments and priorities.
