Job Summary

GardaWorld is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pre-Board Screening Officer to join our team. As a key member of our airport security team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of the travelling public.

Key Responsibilities

  • Screen the travelling public and their belongings to prevent non-permitted items from entering the secure area.
  • Ensure that all individuals and their luggage meet the necessary security protocols.
  • Control access to restricted areas and respond to alarms and report any events, illegal acts or violations.
  • Participate in emergency operations within the airport and provide assistance as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be a Canadian Citizen or a permanent resident.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Have a clean criminal record and be eligible to obtain a RAIC (security clearance).
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be located near St. John's or willing to relocate before starting.
