Airport Security Officer

Job Summary

GardaWorld is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Airport Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of the travelling public.

Responsibilities

* Screen the travelling public and their belongings to ensure compliance with security regulations
* Control access to restricted areas and respond to alarms and report any events, illegal acts or violations
* Participate in emergency operations within the airport and work collaboratively with other security teams
* Maintain a clean and professional appearance and adhere to GardaWorld's dress code and uniform policy

Requirements

* Must be a Canadian Citizen or a permanent resident
* High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
* Have a clean criminal record and be eligible to obtain a RAIC (security clearance)
* 18 years of age or older
* Must be located near St. John's or willing to relocate before starting
