Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced Core Cutters or General Labourers to join our team at Matrix Camps and Logistics. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting core samples to specified dimensions using specialized equipment, ensuring accuracy and precision in the cutting process, and maintaining and cleaning cutting equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cutting core samples to specified dimensions using specialized equipment
- Ensuring accuracy and precision in the cutting process
- Maintaining and cleaning cutting equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Properly labeling and storing cut core samples to maintain organization and trackability

Requirements:

- Previous experience in operating core cutting equipment is highly desired
- Level 1 First Aid Certification or equivalent 2-day course is an asset
- Knowledge of proper handling and storage of core samples
- Must have attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Must be able to follow safety guidelines and procedures
- Must be physically capable of lifting and moving core boxes and samples, of up to 50 pounds

Benefits:

- 7 days on / 7 days off rotation
- 10 hours per day, including travel time from West Kelowna
- Day rate of $325
