Job Title: Personal Care Provider

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Provider to join our team at MJI - Private Home. As a Personal Care Provider, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care and support to clients with physical disabilities, including administering bedside and personal care, assisting with regular exercise, and performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties. You will also be responsible for planning therapeutic diets and menus, providing companionship, and shopping for food and household supplies.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care
  • Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Plan therapeutic diets and menus
  • Provide companionship
  • Provide personal care
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • or equivalent experience
  • Criminal record check
  • Reference required
  • Medical exam
Work Environment:

Our clients live in their own homes, and you will be working in a non-smoking environment. Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis, but this is not a condition of employment.
