Senior Mining Engineer Opportunity

SRK Consulting is a leading international consulting practice providing integrated services to the mining and metals sector.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mining Engineer to join our team in Sudbury, ON or Toronto, ON.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and consulting advice on underground mining projects for North American and international clients.
  • Contribute to technical studies, due diligence, operational assistance, and project management.
  • Develop and maintain a client network in collaboration with the Ontario mining team.
  • Continuously develop technical skills and industry knowledge to support the SRK Ontario team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of an undergraduate degree in mining engineering or related field.
  • At least 10 years of practical underground operational and/or consulting experience.
  • Advanced level of technical skills in chosen engineering discipline.
  • Proficient in Deswik or related software.
  • Sufficient knowledge of mineral projects to identify study risks and opportunities.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Advanced interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership qualities.
  • Ability to establish and maintain client relationships.
  • Registered or eligible for professional registration as P.Eng.

This role involves working in multi-disciplinary teams on various projects, with potential for international travel.
