Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and physically capable Laborer to join our team at Regina Exhibition Association Limited. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the smooth operation of our events and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Support: Assist with the setup, teardown, and maintenance of event equipment, including tables, chairs, staging, and pipe and drape.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform general maintenance tasks, such as repairing and maintaining equipment, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of facilities.
  • Outdoor Duties: Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas, and perform other outdoor tasks as required.
  • Asset Management: Maintain and repair assets, including tables, chairs, field cover, and turf.
  • Office Support: Assist with office equipment moves, and perform other tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Driver's License: Possession of a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Provincial driver's license.
  • Experience: Experience in the operations of arena, commercial, or industrial building maintenance.
  • Safety: Ability to be safety conscious and willing to follow safety policies and procedures.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to perform physically strenuous and demanding tasks to fulfill all working conditions and physical demands.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to take direction, follow instructions, and work independently or with a team.
  • Customer Service: Willingness and ability to maintain a respectable public image and conduct, interacting with customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Certifications: Possession of a valid CPR & First Aid certification card is an asset.
  • Criminal Record Check: Must be able to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check for the duration of employment.
