Maintenance Lead

Job Summary:

Agropur is seeking a skilled Maintenance Lead to oversee the maintenance and reliability of one of our production lines. As a key member of our Maintenance Team, you will work closely with the Production Team to identify and implement solutions to maximize up-time and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance systems to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot maintenance issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the Production Team to develop and lead 90-Day loss-elimination plans to drive improvements in planned maintenance, PM completion rates, and R&M costs.
  • Coach and develop Production and Maintenance Teams on shift to ensure technical expertise and knowledge sharing.
  • Perform required preventive maintenance on line machinery and diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair maintenance issues as needed.

Requirements:

  • Red Seal Industrial Electrician ticket, Industrial Mechanic ticket, or another relevant trades ticket.
  • Experience working with plant computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Passion for systemic solutions and effective communication skills.
  • Lead Hand experience or experience coaching and coordinating Maintenance Team members is an asset.

Additional Information:

  • This job classification falls under the bargaining unit, and the employee must remain in the job for a period of 12 months.
  • Starting Hourly Rate - $36.33/hr.
