Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Wireline Technician. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our wireline units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain wireline units, including lubricators, logging tools, and sheaves
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on units
  • Assist with cleaning and maintaining shop, yard, and equipment
  • Keep wireline units stocked with supplies
  • Perform regular maintenance on wireline trucks and auxiliary equipment
  • Rig in and rig out lubricator, logging tools, and other equipment as required
  • Assist with loading perforating guns
  • Operate various meters and tools, including megohmmeters, Simpson meters, and digital/Fluke meters
  • Disassemble and service rope sockets and cableheads
  • Basic knowledge of pressure control equipment and tools
  • Provide crane hand signals as per advanced driver training
  • Understand and apply basic wellbore mechanics and design
  • Differentiate between sweet and sour well operations
  • Install tire chains
  • Mix oilwell cement
Requirements
  • 18 years of age
  • Successful completion of pre-hire testing (physical/hearing test/drug screen)
  • Ability to follow instructions and demonstrate a positive attitude and team player qualities
