We are seeking an experienced Thoracic Nurse Practitioner Leader to join our team at Njoyn. As a key leader, you will be responsible for advancing the scope of thoracic nursing practice and supporting the development of team members within the Thoracic Program.
The successful candidate will possess a Master of Nursing or Master of Science in Nursing with successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program from a recognized institution. They will have a minimum of 3 years of recent Nurse Practitioner experience in thoracic, cardiothoracic, or pulmonary care. Experience with thoracic surgeries, lung and esophageal diseases, and post-surgical recovery is also essential.
- Key Responsibilities:
- • Play a critical role in improving practice standards and advancing the scope of thoracic nursing
- • Support the development of team members within the Thoracic Program
- • Contribute to the education of patients, families, and health professionals by sharing knowledge about thoracic care, health promotion, and recovery strategies
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as well as experience in adult education, including mentoring students.
