At Njoyn, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients. As a Part-Time Data Analyst in the Surgical Program, you will play a vital role in supporting the Thoracic Surgery team by creating and maintaining a comprehensive database.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, with experience in health information management and CIHI database/reporting methodologies. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust database for thoracic surgery data, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

You will gather data from multiple sources, including electronic health records, surgical logs, and registries, and collaborate with clinical staff for accurate data entry and collection. Your ability to analyze data to identify trends and insights related to thoracic surgery outcomes will be essential in facilitating planning and decision-making for the Trauma leadership team and the Regional Trauma Network.

In addition to your technical skills, you will possess excellent communication, project management, and coordination skills. You will work closely with surgeons, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure data relevance and accuracy, and participate in program meetings to contribute to discussions regarding data-driven improvements.
