Temporary Administrative Opportunities at the University of New Brunswick

The University of New Brunswick, Saint John campus, is seeking qualified candidates for temporary administrative opportunities.

What We Offer

As a temporary administrative assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and diverse environment, supporting various departments and teams across the university.

Standard Work Hours

Temporary administrative positions may be full-time or part-time, with standard work hours varying depending on the specific role. Some positions may require shift-work or have variable work hours.

Your Focus

The University of New Brunswick wishes to establish an inventory of qualified candidates to help fill various temporary administrative positions. These positions can be up to 6 months in length, and all resumes will be kept for a period of six (6) months, after which you may re-submit your application.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update records and files.
  • Perform general administrative duties, such as correspondence and greeting visitors.
  • May assist with basic financial documents, including travel expense claims and spreadsheets.
  • Other related administrative duties.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education and/or experience in an administration role.

Additional Strengths

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with basic office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, but also manage time and projects independently.
