We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Holistic Home Care. As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists in delivering high-quality patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing patients' physical abilities, assisting health care professionals, and carrying out treatment programs under their direction.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of physiotherapy principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Assist health care professionals in delivering patient care
  • Carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists
  • Develop information materials for patients and families
  • Record vital signs and maintain accurate patient records

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Strong understanding of physiotherapy principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Working Conditions:

  • 35 hours per week
  • Permanent position
  • Anglais is the primary language of work
