Job Title: Physiotherapist Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Physiotherapist Assistant to join our team at UPCHAR PHYSIOTHERAPY INC.

Job Summary:

The Physiotherapist Assistant will provide support to our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in the rehabilitation of patients with various injuries or disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with treatment programs, setting up and dismantling equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physiotherapists and occupational therapists with treatment programs
  • Position patients for treatments
  • Set up and dismantle equipment
  • Clean and maintain equipment
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies
  • Plan physiotherapy programs
  • Remove casts, sutures, and pins
  • Confer with other health professionals
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience an asset
  • Punctuality

Work Environment:

The Physiotherapist Assistant will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, requiring strong communication and teamwork skills. The successful candidate will be physically demanding and require a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
