Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our team at Highlife Construction Ltd. as a woodwork specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.

About the Job

This is a permanent position working 35 hours per week with a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong client focus, reliability and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
