Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Woodwork Specialist to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of various woodwork projects.

Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Co-ordination: Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites to meet project deadlines.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise other workers and provide guidance to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Cost Estimation: Estimate costs and materials required for each project.
  • Material Preparation: Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs, prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, and measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
  • Site Work: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, erect walls and roof systems, fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.
Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this position is $50,000 - 60,000.
