Executive Chef for Busy Restaurant

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at La Rozzi Bistro and Filipino Grocery Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with the ability to manage a fast-paced kitchen environment.
About the Role- The Executive Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods for customers.
- They will also oversee the requisitioning of food and kitchen supplies, as well as the maintenance of inventory and records.
- The successful candidate will be able to train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Executive Chef in a similar role.
- Degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
- The Executive Chef will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
- They will also need to be physically demanding and work in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Range:
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, the successful candidate will receive a benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
