Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Over-the-Road Truck Driver to join our team at Morning Star Trucking Ltd. As an Over-the-Road Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

Requirements:

  • AZ class license
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Willing to travel cross-border
  • Willing to travel for extended periods

Work Environment: As an Over-the-Road Truck Driver, you will be working on the road, traveling to various locations across the country. You will be required to work independently and make decisions based on your judgment and experience.
