Business Advisor Role

As a Business Advisor at Scotiabank, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our small business customers. Your focus will be on managing a portfolio of high-value relationships, achieving retention and growth goals, and building strong relationships with the local business community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of small business owner relationships to achieve retention and growth goals
  • Develop relationships with Centres of Influence to create a strong presence in the local business community
  • Proactively engage with new and existing clients to build strong, ongoing relationships and provide comprehensive advice
  • Stay up-to-date on small business market trends, products, and services, including financial statements, risk management policies, and legal documentation
Requirements:
  • Results-oriented attitude and sound knowledge of the small business market
  • Excellent business development techniques and understanding of small business legal structures and life cycles
  • Good organizational skills and flexibility to adapt to a changing environment
  • Education in a business-related discipline or equivalent work experience as a small business owner
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
