Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Post Office Assistant to join our team in Dawson City. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling postal products and services, and handling mail and packages with care.

This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and develop your skills in customer relations, sales, and communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Selling Postal Products and Services: Sell a range of postal products and services to customers, including stamps, money orders, and shipping options.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Mail Handling: Sort, distribute, and process mail and packages efficiently and accurately.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Relevant experience in business administration or customer service is an asset.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: High levels of accuracy and attention to detail are required for processing mail and packages correctly.
