Job Overview

At Dallas Watt Demo Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a construction estimator, you will be responsible for preparing estimates of labour and/or material costs, preparing estimates for general expenses and overheads, and creating and submitting estimate reports, quote sheets, and bids forms.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
  • Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads
  • Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bids forms
  • Advise on tendering procedures
  • Analyze tenders and recommend awards
  • Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems
  • Monitor and adjust contract expenditures
  • Prepare and maintain directory of supplies and trade contractors
  • Liaise, consult, and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates


Requirements

  • Type of experience: Civil, Electricity - construction, Commercial and/or industrial construction
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods
  • Personal suitability: Client focus, Excellent oral communication, Excellent written communication, Flexibility, Organized, Team player, Proactive
