Job Summary:

Our client, a renowned Architecture and Design firm, is seeking a skilled Contract Administrator to join their team. This opportunity offers a dynamic work environment, innovative projects, and a chance to grow into an Associate/Leadership position.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering contracts, ensuring projects adhere to contract documents and building codes. This will involve collaborating with architects, production teams, and other stakeholders to execute high-profile projects, including public/civic, community, mixed-use, and institutional projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administering contracts, including change control procedures and contract administration methodologies
  • Liaising with construction managers, owners representatives, general contractors, and sub-trades
  • Ensuring projects comply with contract documents and building codes
  • Collaborating with architects and production teams for change orders, RFIs, and documentation

Requirements:

  • Possess an Architectural Technology Diploma/Certification or related Architectural education
  • 4+ years' experience in the industry with at least 2+ years in contract administration or site work/project coordination for Architectural projects
  • Familiarity with Revit software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to review and mark up shop drawings
  • Technical skills as a technologist are a strong asset
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
