Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Products Manufacturing Specialist to join our team at Sealtek Fabrications Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various metal fabrication equipment, ensuring high-quality products are produced efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Operate or tend automatic or multi-purpose machines to produce metal parts and metal products, ensuring accurate and precise results.
  • Product Finishing: Clean, polish, file, or otherwise finish products to meet quality and specification standards.
  • Quality Control: Check products for quality and other specifications, identifying and addressing any defects or issues.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Clean and maintain the work area, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
  • Equipment Setup and Operation: Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools, ensuring efficient and effective production.
  • Component Assembly: Fit and assemble components using hand and power tools, requiring manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Machinery Maintenance: Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and extending equipment lifespan.
Work Environment

As a Metal Products Manufacturing Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced production environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads, making physical stamina and manual dexterity essential for this role.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, as on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Experience: Willingness to learn and train on the job is essential.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
