Portfolio Director

About the Role
The Portfolio Manager will provide senior-level advice and guidance to Fraser Health executives within an assigned portfolio of Informatics. This includes the development and implementation of application architecture, leading and being accountable for enterprise-wide business and clinical information systems projects, and managing timelines and resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides senior-level advice and guidance by consulting to all disciplines and stakeholders within an assigned portfolio.
- Leads and is accountable for enterprise-wide business and clinical information systems projects.
- Manages timelines and resources, develops project budgets, and provides leadership to team members.
- Facilitates service design, transition, and operations management strategies.
- Coordinates the work of and supervises assigned staff.
- Coordinates the procurement and management of external services.
- Devises strategies to ensure long-term and maximum utilization of information and technologies.
- Provides direct supervision to assigned staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related study.
- Seven years of related experience in a large complex organization, including at least three years' experience as a Project Manager.
- Experience with health and corporate information systems.
