About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer to join our team at Flex-N-Gate. As a Product Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, analysis, and testing of new products, as well as supporting production products with engineering changes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze product drawings, specifications, and prototypes to ensure they meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement product improvements.
  • Develop and maintain product development plans, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve product-related issues.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, sales, and manufacturing teams to ensure product specifications align with corporate strategy.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor products to inform product development decisions.
  • Lead and participate in product development projects, ensuring effective project management and timely delivery.
  • Develop and maintain accurate product development records, including product specifications, test results, and customer feedback.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in product development, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of product development processes, including APQP, PPAP, and PFMEA.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software.
  • Ability to travel as required.
