About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team at Amazon Web Services Canada, Inc. in the Canadian Public Sector market. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth strategies and building long-term business relationships with our customers in the public sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the sales management team and partner teams to develop go-to-market strategies and drive revenue, adoption, and market penetration in the Canadian Public Sector market.
  • Collaborate with business leaders from product groups to analyze market data, identify trends and opportunities, and execute on business development opportunities.
  • Partner with the Sales Management team and multiple stakeholders to define and execute sales plans and strategic programs and initiatives.
  • Support the evolution, integration, and implementation of sales systems and processes to meet the rapid growth of the business and its revenue attainment and market development goals.
  • Develop and land segment-specific sales and marketing efforts with strategic partnerships, including ISVs and SIs.
About the Team

Our team is focused on increasing awareness and adoption of Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the Canadian Public Sector market. We are looking for a business-savvy, public sector-experienced, and technically skilled individual who is passionate about the public sector and has a strong understanding of the Canadian market.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience with the Public Sector.
  • 10+ years of experience in building go-to-market strategies with solid IT knowledge and understanding of complex customer environments.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in technology-enabled consultative, solutions development, product management, product marketing, business development, and/or transformation roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required or work equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, in French and English.
