Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nordic Area Director to join our team at JRoss Recruiters. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for championing and upholding all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies, ensuring a safe environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety protocols and risk management strategies to minimize hazards and ensure compliance.
  • Facilitate annual training and onboarding programs for team members, ensuring they are well-versed in safety procedures and emergency protocols.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that supports team members in expanding their skills and developing professionally.
  • Act as a mentor and provide guidance, regular feedback, and set goals for team members to ensure they are meeting their full potential.
  • Lead the team in creating a consistently positive atmosphere, encouraging team members to engage with guests actively and anticipate their needs.
Requirements
  • Strong background in leadership, ideally within a Nordic skiing or winter resort environment.
  • Exceptional commitment to team development and guest service.
  • Enthusiasm for winter sports and creating memorable guest experiences.
