Job Summary:
The Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in the success of CB Canada by managing the day-to-day operations of driver communication, scheduling, and routing. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a focus on customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the dispatch of fleet units to ensure efficient operations
- Provide professional phone assistance to customers and drivers
- Plan, organize, and respond to route, fleet, and operator issues, and advise on company safety policies and procedures
- Coordinate the activities of drivers, supervisors, and fleet units using computer-aided communications and dispatching equipment
- Work independently to resolve customer issues in a professional and friendly manner
- Perform administrative duties as required, including payroll, filing, and reports
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills, including time management, multitasking, and remaining calm in a hectic work environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in the transportation industry is an asset
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and confidence in using database systems
- Previous experience in administrative duties
- Clear criminal record
