Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our team at Royal Construction. As a masonry specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to construct buildings, walls, and other structures
  • Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide a veneer facing for buildings and walls
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units, such as chimney and fireplace structures
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages to access areas that require masonry work
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools
Work Environment

As a masonry specialist, you will work on construction sites, often in a physically demanding environment. You will be required to handle heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related trade
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required
  • Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding environments
  • Excellent physical stamina and hand-eye coordination
