PM2CM is a professional services company offering program and project management, construction management, and project controls services. We are seeking a Senior Project Estimator to lead the effort in consolidating scope and cost for projects ranging from $25M to $1B+. This role will ensure projects follow the governance process and assist the Project Manager with receiving executive approval throughout their lifecycle.
The Senior Project Estimator will develop responses to regulatory and legal data requests related to estimated project costs. As a subject matter expert on project estimation and aggregation methodology, including risk and contingency application, this individual will work closely with project teams to plan, schedule, and manage the process for gathering scope and cost for project aggregations at each stage gate.
This position requires collaboration among cross-functional stakeholders to review cost estimates and obtain approvals. The Senior Project Estimator will perform detailed variance analysis for cost estimates at various stages of the project lifecycle and prepare updated estimates based on change requests for scope, cost, and schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with project teams to gather scope and cost information for project aggregations
- Analyze cost estimates to verify alignment with historical benchmarks
- Develop and manage supporting documentation for stage gate updates and regulatory filings
- Peer review project aggregations and cost estimates
- Prepare cost estimates using industry-standard tools and software
Requirements:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Estimator with a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a minimum of one year of experience in the construction industry. Key skills include proficiency in computer-assisted design (AutoCAD) and other design, data recording, and analysis software, as well as knowledge of Best Management Practices (BMP) and safety regulations.
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience
