About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Meltwich Food Co. Waterloo. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and package take-out food for customers
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Take customers' orders accurately and efficiently
  • Operate manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to meet customer demands
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to handle heavy loads, work in a fast-paced environment, and perform repetitive tasks. You must be physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
