Job Title: Cashier

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at Harris Meats & Groceries (2013) Inc. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and processing transactions accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner
  • Count and balance cash register at the end of each shift
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
