Job Title: Cashier

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Canadian Tire. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cash wrap and surrounding areas
  • Restock shelves and merchandise as needed
  • Participate in promotional activities and maintain a positive attitude towards sales and customer service
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a cash handling role
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register
