About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team at TYCHO POLY INC. as an Industrial Equipment Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and maintaining complex mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Installation: Assemble mechanical equipment and stationary industrial machinery, ensuring all components are properly aligned and secured.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in machinery, and repair or replace defective parts as needed.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure accurate assembly and installation.
  • Foundation Construction: Construct foundations for machinery, ensuring stability and levelness.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection.
  • Material Estimation: Estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Operational Support: Operate machining tools to fabricate parts, and install machinery and equipment.
  • Hoisting and Lifting: Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to move heavy machinery and components.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
