Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Quality Inn & Conference Centre. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of hotel rooms and public areas
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting
  • Restock linens and amenities as needed
  • Handle and report lost and found items
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests

Requirements:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Work Setting:

  • Urban area
  • Relocation costs covered by employer
  • Hotel, motel, resort

Tasks:

  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Dust furniture
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
  • Make beds and change sheets
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries
  • Handle and report lost and found items
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items
  • Provide basic information on facilities
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
