**Job Summary**

Vantix Systems Inc. is seeking a highly skilled **Senior Consultant** to provide expert-level planning and technical analysis in support of ongoing migration and modernization of DNS services, custom applications, and data management infrastructure.

This role involves providing strategic support for the migration of existing applications from the BMC Remedy (On Prem) platform to Helix, as well as ensuring the seamless integration of DNS services with other network components.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and deploy complex IT services with a focus on scalability and reliability.
  • Design and implement custom DNS servers and services, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain custom DHCP servers and services.
  • Lead the migration of in-house DNS implementations to a third-party application, leveraging expertise in Infoblox.
  • Develop in-depth understanding of DNS and DHCP data structures, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Provide expert-level support for Windows DNS and its integration with other DNS services.
  • Develop and maintain complex scripts in Perl and JavaScript, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Maintain and upgrade Solaris Servers, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Collaborate with teams to migrate Unix scripts in Solaris to Linux compatible scripts.
  • Develop and maintain Remedy Applications, ensuring seamless integration with other network components.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across the entire network infrastructure.

**Requirements:**

  • Recent 5 years experience developing and deploying complex IT services.
  • At least 5 years experience in building custom DNS servers and services.
  • At least 5 years experience in building custom DHCP servers and services.
  • Experience dealing with the migration of in-house DNS implementations to a third-party application.
  • In-depth understanding of DNS and DHCP data structures.
  • In-depth understanding of Windows DNS and its integration with other DNS services.
  • Recent ten years of experience scripting in Perl.
  • Recent five years of experience in JavaScript.
  • Recent ten years of experience maintaining Solaris Servers.
  • Experience with migration of Unix scripts in Solaris to Linux compatible scripts.
  • In-depth understanding of Remedy Action Request System (ARS) and development of Remedy Applications.
  • In-depth understanding of network devices, components, and their inter-relationships to maintain data integrity for the entire network infrastructure.
