Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing room reservations, and handling guest inquiries. Responsibilities
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms efficiently, ensuring a smooth check-in process
  • Process group arrivals and departures, taking into account special requests and preferences
  • Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, maintaining accurate records
  • Provide general information about local attractions and points of interest, enhancing the guest experience
  • Process guest departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring optimal hotel operations
  • Carry out clerical duties, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying, as required
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to relevant staff members, ensuring prompt communication
  • Contact guests to deliver requested wake-up calls, demonstrating a proactive approach to customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry an asset; willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Able to maintain attention to detail, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure
  • Dependable, organized, and reliable, with a strong commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction
Benefits
