Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at WOW Store Red Deer. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Preparation: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards by inspecting kitchen and food service areas.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate machinery safely and efficiently to produce high-quality baked goods.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the bakery team to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 44 hours per week.
