Job Title: Senior Traffic Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Traffic Engineer to join our team at IBI Group. As a key member of our Traffic Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing traffic management solutions to improve mobility and reduce congestion in urban areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of traffic management plans and strategies to optimize traffic flow and reduce congestion
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement traffic signal control systems, roundabouts, and other traffic management infrastructure
  • Conduct capacity analysis and simulation modeling to inform traffic management decisions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and community groups to ensure effective communication and project delivery

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in traffic engineering, with a focus on traffic management and operations
  • Proven track record of leading complex projects and teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency in software tools such as Synchro, VISUM, and VISSIM
