Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pre-Fabrication Manager, Mechanical Construction to join our team at Plan Group Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of mechanical construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee the pre-fabrication process, ensuring all work is completed to the required quality and safety standards.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of shop personnel, ensuring effective use of resources and meeting project deadlines.
  • Communication: Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Education: Mechanical Engineering post-secondary education or equivalent experience in industrial manufacturing supervision, production control, and production management.
  • Skills: Solid understanding of labor planning, process flow concepts, and shop floor controls.
  • Experience: Progressive experience in mechanical construction, fabrication, and project management.
