  • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and competitor activity
  • Determine merchandise and services to be sold, including paint and other related products
  • Implement price and credit policies to ensure profitability
  • Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers
  • Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure financial stability
  • Determine staffing requirements to meet sales and customer service goals
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers
  • Oversee payroll administration and conduct performance reviews
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff to ensure efficient operation of the store
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in sales and customer service
  • Or equivalent experience
  • Work setting: Paint store
  • Work language: English
  • Hours: 35 hours per week
