Baker Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Hynes Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory treats.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to perfection.
  • Prepare special orders and frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Organize and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
