Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically capable Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Deerfoot Inn & Casino Inc. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel, motel, and resort facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Stocking and Supply Management: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closets, and ensure that all necessary cleaning supplies are available.
  • Guest Services: Provide basic information on facilities, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and handle and report lost and found items.
  • Special Tasks: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, and address customers' complaints or concerns.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Environment: Hotel, motel, resort.
  • Work Conditions: Physically demanding, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
