We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Adventure Guide to lead our ice climbing program at Mt. Sima in the beautiful Yukon wilderness.
About the JobThis is a part-time position with estimated hours ranging from 4 to 20 per week, depending on the season and client demand.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants, educating guests about local flora and fauna, and promoting teamwork and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Lead or support our ice climbing program at Mt. Sima.
- Educate guests about local wildlife, conservation practices, and outdoor skills.
- Manage group dynamics to foster teamwork and enhance the overall experience.
- Provide clear instructions and guidance throughout activities.
To succeed in this role, you should have proven leadership experience in outdoor settings, strong customer service skills, and excellent time management abilities.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse groups.
CompensationThis position offers a competitive hourly rate of $18-$32, with opportunities for overtime pay, commission, and tips.
