We are a multi-trade contractor with a strong presence in the region, offering a wide range of services including construction management, electrical contracting, and communication cabling.
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Journeyman to join our team in Charlottetown, PEI.
**Responsibilities:**
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, and project specifications
• Work with electrical apprentices, teaching them the trade and sharing knowledge and expertise
• Install, replace, and repair electrical distribution equipment and controls, including switchboards, panelboards, and disconnect switches
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing devices and equipment
• Repair and replace electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment
• Operate hand tools and power tools associated with electrical work
• Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
**Requirements:**
• Experience working in commercial and industrial environments
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to travel within the province, with compensation offered for travel-related costs
• Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
