At Advanced Business Interiors, we are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to join our team. As a key member of our administrative department, you will provide critical support to our Corporate Controller and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in bank and/or visa reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prepare and review monthly and annual accounting reports, as well as tax filings, to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Process full-cycle accounting entries into our system, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely completion.
  • Support our Invoicing clerk and Accounts Payable team as needed, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless operations.
  • Assist in budget preparation, analyzing financial data and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain job files and filing systems, converting paper documents to electronic files to enhance efficiency and organization.
  • Perform light reception duties on a rotational basis, providing a positive first impression for our clients and visitors.
  • Other administrative duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to excellence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, with a strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
