Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement programs, procedures, and policies that support licensing process protocols, including examination administration and accommodation processes.

  • Research and recommend strategies to maintain defensibility of entrance requirements and ensure entry-level competence of lawyer and paralegal candidates.

  • Monitor trends in professional licensing, high-stakes assessments, and human rights principles to inform policy direction and process enhancements.

  • Provide research and report writing support for special projects related to licensing examinations.

Requirements

  • A strong understanding of the Law Society's mandate, services, and legislation.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Familiarity with equity and fairness principles and initiatives.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide leadership on complex issues.
