We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Team Assistant to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct, hands-on care to patients based on their individual needs and program requirements.
Reporting to the Health Services Manager, you will work under the supervision of regulated health professionals to support patients' activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living. You will also reinforce patient and family teaching according to established guidelines and the plan of care.
About YouWe are looking for a candidate with a strong background in patient care and a passion for delivering high-quality services. To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Continuing Care Assistant Program certification
- Provincial Certification with the Department of Health and Wellness
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Effective listening and communication skills
- Competencies in other languages, with French being an asset

Hours and CompensationThis is a permanent full-time position with 75 hours bi-weekly. The hourly rate is $25.70.
