Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Mountain Recreation Coach to join our team at Mount Washington Alpine Resort. This is a seasonal opportunity to work with individuals of all ages and skill levels, teaching the art of snowboarding in a fun and safe environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for demonstrating and instructing snowboarding techniques, planning and leading group and individual lessons, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Previous experience as a snowboard instructor is an asset, but not required. We encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate and teach snowboarding techniques to students of all ages and skill levels
  • Plan and lead group and individual lessons, ensuring a fun and safe learning environment
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with other instructors and resort staff to ensure a seamless guest experience
Requirements
  • Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors (CASI) Certification or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a snowboard instructor or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
