Job Title: Skilled Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Bouchier. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring the smooth execution of our road maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a variety of heavy equipment, including loaders, dozers, graders, excavators, skid steers, rock trucks, and packers.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Conduct daily pre-operational checks on equipment and maintain accurate records.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a road maintenance or construction environment.
  • Valid Class 1 or 3 Driver's License.
  • Clean 5-year Driver's Abstract.
  • Basic Safety Orientation (CSTS09, OSSA Regional Orientation, OSSA BSO, or CSO).
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
  • Safety-conscious attitude and willingness to work in fluctuating climates and environmental conditions.
